You will need
400g wholegrain spelt flour or Dove Organic Flour
150g rolled oats
100g chicken liver
100g chicken breast
5 eggs
4 fluid oz sunflower oil
8 fluid oz water

Flour - 1 cup = 128 g | 4.5 oz
Oats - 1 cup = 85 g | 3 oz
8 fluid ounces (fl oz) = 1 cup

Method
Pre-heat the oven to 160℃ | Gas Mark 2 or 3
1. Place the flour and oats into a mixing bowl and mix well.
2. Add the liver and chicken to a liquidizer and process until small pieces. Put the flour mix into a food processor and add the eggs and chopped meat and mix well.
3. Gradually add the sunflower oil and water until the mixture is of cake mix consistency. Beat plenty of air into the mixture, you can either spoon the mixture into an 8” cake tin or you can make 18 muffins.
4. Cook for 30 minutes for muffins and 1 hour 15 minutes for the cake.
5. Remove the cake/muffins from the oven, leave to cool for five minutes and then turn them out onto a cooling rack until completely cold.
Store finished cake or muffins in the fridge and use within 3 days.
