Dog boarding in Brighton & Hove. Wagging Tails covers the entire BN postcode area.

"Hello, My name is Emily, my family had dogs when I was growing up and I loved the friendship and fun they gave me as a child. When I had a family of my own they were desperate for a dog. For years we couldn’t agree to one as my husband and I both worked full time but due to a career change we were able to have our first dog, Jake. After losing him we weren’t sure we wanted another one and I increased my hours of work but we soon realised that we all missed having a dog around so I looked into ways of working that would offer me the flexibility to have a dog and also be there for my youngest son after school.

I was over the moon when I found Wagging Tails (and particularly when the BN postcode area was available!) as our priority is always the dogs’ happiness. Wagging Tails has offered me a fantastic opportunity and the flexibility I need and, just as importantly, provides a much needed service for local dog owners, who are be able to go away on holiday or business and have peace of mind that their dogs are being well cared for in a real ‘home from home’ environment.

I am proud to be part of Wagging Tails and am really looking forward to building a team of dedicated Carers and providing an unmatched service to dog owners in the Brighton, Hove & Sussex area.

All of their carers are licensed by their local Council to comply with the Animal Boarding Establishments Act 1963 and are fully insured through Wagging Tails Pet Business Insurance.

So you can go away safe in the knowledge that your dogs are being loved and cared for and are enjoying a holiday of their own, full of love, exercise and those all important cuddles!

How it Works

Your dog will be matched with the most suitable carer and you will be invited to a 'sniffing out meeting' at the carer's home before your dog's holiday stay, giving you peace of mind and reassurance that your best friend will have a great dog holiday!

All Wagging Tails carers are home based. As they never mix dogs from other families, you know that your beloved pooch will always receive plenty of attention and, most importantly, live as part of a loving family.

Emily aims to place dogs back with the same carer for subsequent holidays as the dogs and carers build a strong bond. Many owners say that their dogs have dragged them to the carer's door knowing exactly where they are and that it's holiday time!
