Because Life is Better with A Dog…
Service Dogs UK trains and provides assistance dogs to support members of the Armed Forces and Emergency Services who have PTSD.
We use dogs from rescue centres to achieve unique partnerships that will greatly enhance the lives of both. We will continue to support the partnerships as part of our ongoing commitment to ‘those that serve’, past or present.

Our PTSD Assistance Dogs get trained specifically for key PTSD symptoms such as: nightmares, flashbacks, anxiety, medication reminders … as well as other tasks.
Besides this joining our programme can offer a new way of coping and sense of achievement, purpose and regained independence.

Applications are currently open to our PTSD Assistance Dog programme.
Service Dogs UK is looking for …
men and women of the Armed Forces, Emergency Services, Coast Guard and RNLI in West Sussex, Surrey and East & North Hampshire, with a clinical diagnosis of PTSD. Our PTSD Assistance Dog programme is FREE to the veteran.
