This company provide exactly what they promise. Properly secure gardens, properly dog friendly cottages, you DO NOT arrive to find holes in hedges and a list of no-no rules for the dogs. We all know that if the dogs can relax on holiday then we the owners will. AND WE DID!

Beautiful little accommodation, which feels so much bigger inside. A place where you can completely relax surrounded by fields and wildlife. The hot tub was wonderful, being able to lay in there in the evening watching for shooting stars in the night sky and listening to the owls calling...Perfect!
The layout was great for the dogs, two of which are very elderly now, they loved laying by the open patio doors, in the warm February sun, watching the world go by. The paddock was a huge hit for our crazy staff. It meant she could run around off her lead without us having to worry about other dogs suddenly appearing. Look forward to returning one day.

Just back from Brian’s Cottage and an amazing half term stay. The hosts, Tim and Liz were amazing and happy to help. Location is fantastic, with great views and superb dog walks. Furthermore, you’re not too far from well known spots such as the broads and Norwich if you’re looking for variety. Just amazing!

Had a wonderful short break in The Crib. Very well thought out and equipped. Dogs loved the dog beds, very dog friendly, spacious and comfortable. Very clean. Excellent location for exploring the beaches, broads and lovely walks. No one wanted to come home!

Wonderful house , perfect for myself and my friends (both 2 and 4 legged!)
I arrived at dusk on the 28th December for new year and spent the first night there on my own with only my dogs for company, so arriving to the house all lit up with xmas lights, a home made cake and a bottle of fizz was so fabulously welcoming .
Hope to return soon.

Lovely dog friendly cottage, we decided to book for another holiday about half an hour after arriving!
So well laid out and decorated beautifully. The Westies loved it and the views were lovely over the fields. Listened to the owls hooting in the evening, a very special place, can’t wait to return

Have had an amazing week at White Cottage over Christmas.
Unbelievably dog friendly in every way. We have a very nervous lurcher who for the most part is scared of everything. He settled very quickly and within a couple of hours he was happily asleep on the sofa! Incredible!
Fantastic cottage in a great location - so quiet!

Our second visit to East Ruston Cottages this time staying at Heather Cottage. Very warm and welcoming for us and our furry family, so dog friendly inside and out with a totally secure garden. Short walk to the beach and a stroll to very dog friendly pub/restaurant serving fab food. Wonderful time had with our little gang on the dunes and many huge empty sandy beaches. Can't wait to return !! A perfect relaxing escape for multi dog families.

The Lodge was compact but very comfortable, and was well sighted as a base for exploring the surrounding countryside and the coast which was just up the road (very tasty full English breakfast at both Happysburgh and Wallcott). The welcome pack was lovely and the whole stay was very relaxing. Buster the labradoodle had a lovely time too.

We have just returned from a weeks stay in Holmes House. The dogs and humans had a lovely week there. Visited Sea Palling beach and Reefs Bar most days, a very dog friendly area as are lots of places in this part of Norfolk. East Ruston Cottages really are the most dog friendly accomodation we have stayed in, your dogs can treat these cottages literally as a home from home, other companies are only 'dog tolerant'!Caz at Holmes House made us most welcome. The house itself is very spacious and well equipped, garden of a generous size for the furry ones. Wouldn't hesitate to reccommend E.R.C to anyone with dogs.

Just returned from our 2nd visit to Rooster Barn - just as wonderful as our 1st - a real home from home. Close to near empty beaches, walks, takeaways and places to eat, also equipped with everything you need. East Ruston Cottages are the most dog friendly we have stayed in. Definitely recommend.

Great place! Dog friendly, well it is an East Ruston Cottage! Close to two great pubs, and no more than 10 minuets drive from beaches, supermarkets, more pubs, more beaches! So quiet, but so central for everything, comfy, cosy. Cannont wait to go back!

Just returned from our 4th visit to Holmes House, this time for a fortnight, and cannot recommend the property or ERC highly enough for truly dog friendly accomodation.
Holmes House is well equipped (including a holiday essential dishwasher), throws are provided (if you don't take your own) so they can go on furniture and the garden is fully secure.
There are excellent walks from the doorstep and dog friendly pubs and cafes are plentiful in the surrounding area.
The only draw back is that the ERC properties are so popular now you literally have to book up again as soon as you get back!!

Hidden Gem is perfect for human and canine members of the family alike - a stunning location, backing onto the dunes where dogs can run for miles without worrying about traffic or livestock (unless you venture onto the beach and come across the occasional seal, we didn't), a beautifully equipped cottage with every need covered, an amazing welcome pack including delicious treats for both dogs and people alike, located in a village with a store for everyday needs a very short walk from the cottage, a fish and chip shop serving delicious food and a dog friendly pub too, what more could we ask for? We'll be back again next year for sure.
