Unforgettable beachside location in the North of Scotland, looking out over Sinclair Bay. These two cottages are perfect for a quiet break at any time of year.

Sea Otter Cottage has 3 bedrooms, sleeping 6 in comfort. Facilities include spacious, well-equipped kitchen/dining area, log fire, balcony overlooking the beach.

Next door is our newly-refurbished Sea Shore Cottage, which offers two bedrooms, open-plan living room and kitchen.

Both cottages have stunning sea views, and you will enjoy peace and tranquility in an amazing beachside location.

Looking out northwards across sheltered Sinclair Bay towards Orkney and the Pentland Skerries lighthouse, this extensively renovated, fully equipped, foreshore cottage has glorious sea views. As the tide comes in across the sheltered, shallow bay, you could be watching a living oil painting of the ocean surf. Orcas are regularly visible, seabirds and seals abound; and guests sometimes even see our shy sea otter.

If you love the sea and tranquility this is the place for you to sit reading by a traditional coal fire or to go for shoreline walks. At high tide, with only the sea and the surf visible through the French doors; you could even be at sea without seasickness. Being on the East coast, midges are virtually never a problem; yet facing west, the view from the living room of the sun setting over the castle and every wave of a high tide being tinged with pink has to be seen to be believed.

Nearby places of interest include: Wick Heritage Museum, The Castle of Mey, Mary Ann's Cottage Museum, Camster Cairns, Waligoe Steps, Wick's refurbished Harbour, Hill of Many Stones, Old Pulteney Distillery, Dunnet Head, (Check the map for this true northmost cliff top, and far more impressive than the John O'Groats car park and tourist trap)
