Windy Gap nestles in 6 acres of private mixed woodland within Ainsdale National Nature Reserve’s pine forest which backs on to a large dune system and a wonderful dog friendly sandy beach.  

You can take a walk on 8 miles of marked pathways through woodland and dunes, or enjoy a leisurely stroll on the board walk around the lake, or after a fun-filled day you can have fun spotting the red squirrels, rabbits and foxes sitting on the veranda.

• Accommodation for 8 guests in 4 bedrooms. 3 twin rooms and one room containing a sip-together King size bed which can be converted into a fourth twin room on request. Three of the bedrooms contain washbasins.

• A cot is available on request (Please note: maximum number of guests is still 8)

• Free accommodation for 1 well behaved house trained dog

• A private car park with parking for up to 4 cars.

• A private tennis court

• A spacious reception room with sofas, a dining table and seating for 8, a TV/Freeview/DVD player, Telephone (landline) and open fire (wood provided).

• A large well equipped kitchen with built in oven/grill/hob, an inverter/grill/oven, a dishwasher and a washing machine/dryer. There are two tables in the kitchen one that seats 4-6 guests and a second large folding table that comfortably seats 8 guests.

• A family bathroom with washbasin, WC, bath with shower and separate shower cubicle. An additional indoor WC plus an outside WC.
