A Drug-Free Solution to Canine Separation Anxiety

Calmer Canine is a highly innovative, gentle, effective, safe and drug-free treatment system for canine separation anxiety. The Calmer Canine device delivers targeted pulsed electromagnetic field (tPEMF) signals to the area of the brain responsible for causing the symptoms of anxiety.

It effectively returns the anxious brain to a more balanced emotional state with long-lasting effects. Early evidence suggests that Calmer Canine may also help dogs with other anxieties and fears, such as thunder phobia, noise sensitivity, travel anxiety, general anxiety, and situational anxiety.

Calmer Canine has been proven to work alone without other treatments or training and is safe to use with other solutions for anxiety, such as medications.

• The treatment is safe and sensation-free, with no side effects

• Just two 15-minute sessions each day for four weeks

• The device attaches to the convenience vest

The Calmer Canine treatment system includes a comfortable, easy-to-use vest that holds the device in the proper position over the dog’s head during treatments.

Just two, fifteen-minute treatments daily for four to six weeks have been shown to significantly reduce signs of CSA, including barking, whining, howling, destruction, panting, pacing, watching out the door and windows obsessively, and house soiling, with lasting effects.

Results have been shown to last after the therapy has been discontinued in the majority of dogs in a pilot study using Calmer Canine to treat CSA in moderate to severe cases. In addition, the effects of the treatment continue throughout the day, between treatment sessions.

It may also help with other anxieties such as thunder phobia, noise sensitivity, travel anxiety, stranger anxiety, and general anxiety.

• Treatment is well tolerated.

• Treatment is gentle and sensation-free.

• Effective as a stand-alone therapy and can be safely used in multi-modal therapy.

Calmer Canine is safe to use with CSA medications and other treatment modalities. It also complements behaviour modification programs.
