Welsh Russian was founded by brothers Louis (pictured above) & Vinnie, two toy Pomeranian dogs. Louis & Vinnie were born in Wales, and Pomeranian is a breed of the Spitz group of dog breeds, originating from Siberia, a region of Russia. Hence "Welsh Russian".
