The aims of the Anvil Equine Veterinary Practice

To offer a personal, friendly and caring service to all our owners and their horses.

We are a practice specialising in horses. You will always be attended by an experienced vet who will know your horse. We will assist you with honest, confidential advice and support.

We are anxious that we receive as much feedback as possible from our clients, be it praise, criticism or suggestions.

We are dedicated to relieving the suffering and pain of horses as far as we are humanly able and to educate owners to ensure an excellent quality of care for their animals.

I cannot recommend Alistair and Anvil vets highly enough- the care and dedication is second to none- always happy to provide advice to clients and attend to attend to the horses needs- routine or emergency whatever the time of day and night- have looked after my horse for 17 years and would not use anyone else, all the office team are so supportive too and really care about horses and owners
