Avon House Veterinary Surgery, where our team use their vast experience in small animals to expertly care for a wide variety of pets.  

Along with the ever-popular dogs and cats, we also have a particular interest in treating rabbits, guinea pigs, and other pet rodents.  We pride ourselves on providing a more personal approach to animal care and offer a friendly, professional service to pets and their owners.

When possible, you can see your choice of vet on your visit, and as a quick diagnosis of their illness is critical to the effective treatment, it is our charter to offer same day appointments for non-routine cases.  

Our staff undergo continuous development to ensure the provision of the latest treatment techniques. You can feel confident that from clipping your hamster's nails to major surgery on your dog, we are here to provide your pets with the expert veterinary care they deserve.

If you require an appointment, flea treatments, a repeat prescription, healthcare advice, or just a reassuring chat about the welfare of your pet, you will find our friendly staff are always available to help.

Home Visits Your pet's well-being is our top priority.

If they are too unwell to travel, we offer home visits by arrangement. However, we advise that you attend the surgery when possible, as our facilities can provide your pet with the highest standard of care.
