At Battle Flatts Veterinary Clinic, we pride ourselves for the friendly, caring and professional service that we provide at our four practices centred around Stamford Bridge near York. Our vets provide treatment for cats, dogs, horses, rabbits, rodents, birds, reptiles, aquatics and anything else that's unusual – including a 24 hour emergency service.
Our purpose built centre is located adjacent to the river and was completed in 2005. The clinic carries a comprehensive range of equipment and facilities to enable us to give your pet the utmost and latest in veterinary care as do our other clinics which are conveniently located at Pocklington, Strensall and Norton.
We provide services from our four well equipped practices in Stamford Bridge, Strensall, Pocklington & Norton as well as provide home visits.
Routine Services & Preventative Health Care
We provide routine preventative health care for all species
A range of nurse clinics including weight clinics and puppy and kitten checks
In house lab machines to give us fast blood sample results
Measuring of horses under the Joint Measurement Scheme.
Our vets are on call 24hours a day, 365 days a year.
Diagnostic Imaging
Our vets have a range of tools available to look inside your pet's body allowing us to examine the internal organs and structures of animals from horses to fish! These include:
x-rays (including mobile xray for equine use outside the practice)
ultrasound
a range of rigid and flexible endoscopes
Surgery
Our operating theatres are equipped to allow us to so everything from complex soft tissue and orthopaedic procedures in dogs to intricate surgery in lizards.
Nurse Clinics
In addition to the surgeries run by the veterinary surgeons, the nurses also run clinics, many of which are free of charge. Ask at the surgery for details on our clinics which include:
