Home Visits

Their mobile veterinary service allows you access to our veterinary care in your own home at an affordable price. For the best value home visit service terms apply so get in touch as soon as possible.

If you are unable to bring your pet into the St. Anne’s Road surgery for an operation please call the surgery to arrange for transportation via their practice ambulance.

Nurse Clinics

Nail Clipping • Post Operative Checks • Slimmers Club • Puppy Classes • Behaviour Clinics

Slimmers Club

All of their surgeries have ‘walk-on’ scales that are always available and easily accessed. If you wish to weigh your pet, please call in to any of their surgeries during opening hours and their staff will be happy to help. You do not need an appointment for this free service. If you are serious about weight loss in your pet, the best results can be achieved by using the St Anne's Slimmers service

Behaviour Clinics

Free advice clinics provided by St Annes veterinary nurses for puppies and for dogs with noise phobia and separation anxiety. For more complicated behavioural cases they will arrange referral to local trusted specialists.

Puppy Pre-School

Early socialisation and training is an important part of your puppy's mental development, St Anne’s offer a Puppy Pre-School to enable your puppy to meet other dogs of a similar age and temperament in a safe and controlled environment.

Pre-School classes start on the first Thursday of each month at 8pm (subject to availability) and cost just £24 for the full 3 week course. The classes are held in the large waiting room at our St Anne’s Road surgery and last about an hour.

This is a great opportunity to learn how to raise your young puppy to become a good canine citizen. You will learn how to make sure your dog enjoys visits to the vet; how to manage play biting and toilet training and also how to start to introduce some basic training commands in a safe and fun environment.

Pet Healthcare Plan

At St Anne’s Veterinary Group we want to make preventative health care easy and affordable, to help you give your pets the best possible care.

We believe that disease prevention is much better than cure and that early diagnosis of health problems will help your pet to live a long and healthy life.

Appointments with vets are available morning, afternoon and evenings Monday to Friday, Morning and afternoon on Saturday and by appointment on Sundays.

Veterinary nurse consultations are also available and the reception team will make you an appointment. They will always try to make an appointment with a vet of your choice, but they cannot guarantee that a specific vet will be available at any given surgery.

There is always an available appointment if your pet is unwell. Please phone 01323 640011 for advice on the best way for us to help your pet. With the exception of blood sampling, all of the diagnostic and surgical work takes place at the main site exclusively.

If your pet is admitted to the practice then they will be kept at this surgery. The St Anne's Road surgery is therefore often busy first thing in the morning when pets are admitted for the day; and in the late afternoon and evening when they are discharged.
