All consultations are by appointment only, ensuring that each patient’s needs are met.

However, if your pet requires urgent or emergency care at any time during the day it will be seen as soon as possible and will take preference over routine appointments.

Booked my stray cat to do castration, vaccine and chip. Booked my 1 out of 3 holidays to bring him over. They took the cat and didn't said that the castration will not happen. In 10 minutes gave cat back and said that they not doing the castration. When I complained to the manager the lady who took the cat was extremely rude and vulgar. "You will need to book another day" she said. Not going to this place again. Do not recommend.

I’ve received fantastic care for my cat who became ill earlier this year, Monika is an absolute blessing and has been fantastic throughout,

However, *** who was acting as receptionist recently has really changed my view on the place, I’ve seen numerous complaints about the poor customer service received at times, and unfortunately had the opportunity to witness this recently,

I called the vets up one morning asking for a call back, this isn’t unusual as my cat is very ill and we still have no idea what’s causing her illness. Normally we’d be greeted kindly as the receptionist always recognises us, so do many of the staff, this was not the case with •••. She refused to provide us with a call back saying that’s not how they operate, we’d need a consultation which can’t be done. I explained the usual procedure and told her of my cats situation. She again argued this could not be done, a number of times I told her how urgent this was, asking for a call back, or to bring her in, she refused, raised her voice, and continued to act like a child refusing to do her job or offer advice.

I should point out we are happy to follow any procedure so long as our cat is seen when an emergency occurs. We often take my cat to the vets for check ups and bloods and are in contact with her vet regularly. Any situation that involved speaking with a vet that day would have been fine for me.

••• eventually left the line and had ••• speak with us to sort out a consultation for that day, he did not acknowledge the upset that she had caused at all, but thankfully booked us in right away, something I believe ••• should have done given the circumstances (my cats left eye had become cloudy as if she had no sight in that eye), this was definitely an emergency situation that was explained to her, but she was more concerned with arguing over the phone than helping keep my cat happy and healthy, anyone who works at a vet should prioritise the health of the animals they treat over their emotions, I truly hope ••• gets some much needed additional training and the help she needs.

Total faith in Vet Fintan Farrelly and Nurse Heather .Entrusted my dogs to the practice for many years and can't fault Fintans expertise as the highly knowledgeable and skilled vet his is . This coupled with the skills , warmth and compassion always shown by Nurse Heather. Thankyou both, total respect to you x

I have used this practice for the care of my cats for over 30 years that really speaks for itself. I trust them absolutely and they care and treat both patients and owners with compassion.

We have been with this vets for over 20 years and they are by far the best vets in Birmingham. I have tried other vets more local to me but they didn't match up to the lodge. They are so caring and take their time to explain things clearly. Its a bit of a journey for us now, not easy when your cat doesn't travel well but I wouldn't go anywhere else.

First time I have used this vet to have my cat spayed... Excellent service caring staff and vet.. I was worried the day after my cat was spayed (when there was no need) however when I rang the vet they didn't brush aside the fact I was being silly, they couldn't do enough for me and even arranged for me to go in that day just to double check. Of course she was perfectly fine and I felt like I wasted their time, but they never made me feel like that the vet and receptionist was wonderful with me and my cat..I won't be going anywhere else and would definitely recommend them to everyone..

We have taken our spaniel sophie here for 8 years.. first class service..though sometimes you have to wait when its busy..
