Vet in Kings Heath

At TVC we believe that pets are family and that is our first priority. We are proud to offer a full range of veterinary care & services across our branches. We are fully computerised and have a digital messaging service reminding you when your pet is due for vaccinations, flea/worming treatments, and pre-booked appointments.

Our veterinary team cares for your pets as if they were their own four-legged family members. We believe in training and development for all and we take part in a recent veterinary graduate training rotation.

We are one of the few veterinary nurse Training Practices in Birmingham and believe in training our nurses to the highest possible standard in accordance with the Veterinary Nurse diploma and degree courses.

Our nursing team can offer advice on any aspect of pet care, including diet & nutrition, flea & worming treatments, microchipping, insurance and our Pet Health Club.

Some of our facilities include an in-house laboratory as well as an excellent external diagnostics service, digital radiography as well as ultrasonography, ultrasonic dentistry and full hospitalization facilities for poorly pets.

We have access to the Visiting Vet dedicated house visit service which will transport a vet to see your pet in the comfort of your own home. For overnight and week end emergency care we use Northside Emergency Veterinary Clinic based in Great Barr which employs a dedicated team of emergency vets and nurses.

Been with this vets for a number of years, but have now moved to a different vets, as we were disappointed with the long term treatment for our dog. Vets at the practice seem to come and go and never seem to stay for any great time. We didn't feel that we were being listened to and we're being lectured at instead. We have now gone to a new vet and the treatment for our dog has been changed and he has improved.

We have been patrons of this vets since long before it became value vets, continuing to use their services even after we moved out of the area. Unfortunately, over the last few years, we rarely saw the same vet twice and the quality of treatments suffered. The receptionist was the one constant and she was lovely. Unfortunately even she is no longer there, and the current person is very unhelpful. Our dog is now 15 years old, but we have reluctantly taken the decision to go somewhere more local as there is no point continuing at this vets now that there is no regular vet in attendance

New review 2018. We have since left this practice for two reasons, one, we were only seeing temporary vets for more than two years, and two, my dog had a chronic ear problem that he suffered for years and he was given ear drops that no longer worked, no attempt was made to find the cause of the pain. That was dealt with within two weeks of going to another practice and my dog has been trouble free since. I'm sure each vet who works there means well but they are temporary so there is no continuation of care. It's a pity because it was once excellent with permanent, caring vets.
