New Mill is situated in a quiet cul-de-sac just across from the very picturesque Stalham Staithe.
The Museum of the Broads (and coffee shop) and The Mermaids Slipper restaurant are just across the road. There are some lovely walks around quiet country lanes and around the Broad.
Stalham is a 10-minute walk where you can find some local shops (butcher, flower shop, pet shop, vets, and a Tesco) and some takeaways, Oasis Indian restaurant, and a few pubs.

Heath Cottage, Hickling

Heath Cottage is a beautiful late Victorian country cottage nestled sweetly in the charming Broads village of Hickling. This full of character cottage is situated at the edge of this charming village. It has two very dog-friendly pubs and has lots of super walks from the door, Blue Flag beach is just a short 5 minutes by car.

Eden Hall Cottage offers a relaxing and luxurious getaway on the Norfolk coast.
From the handcrafted kitchen, by the award-winning Humphrey Munson, to the huge, freestanding, cast iron baths and unique, individually sourced furniture, the spacious cottage abounds with character, luxury, and a personal touch.
The self-catering cottage sleeps up to ten people and is perfectly positioned just a short five-minute walk from the beach. It’s an ideal location for visiting the broads, National Trust properties, ancient woodlands, and hidden beaches. The quieter beaches are very dog friendly and the Norfolk Broads are a short 10-minute drive away (there are a number of boat hire companies who welcome dogs on boats).

The Shielings Sea Palling

The Shielings in Sea Palling is a gorgeous, beautifully maintained Victorian House stacked full of charm and character. It sleeps up to 10 people, and has a secure garden and a fabulous luxury hot tub and bar!
The property has hard flooring throughout, fabulous for visiting pooches. It is ideal for a family holiday right throughout the year and is a perfect place to explore Norfolk’s beaches, Broads, and countryside. Because The Shielings is on the outskirts of the village, it is quiet and peaceful and has the most amazing views from all front windows across to the dunes. There is a bridle path on the opposite side of the road, and it takes just 8 minutes to walk to the beach from
there.

Its’ location is in The Street, Horsey, it’s a short walk from the cottage along a lovely country bridle path, right onto Horsey Beach. There is something for everyone in this beautifully refurbished self-catering cottage including state-of-the-art kitchen facilities, a laundry room, a TV with books and DVDs to use at your leisure, and If you have young children with you, there is also a very large supply of children's toys and books.

The Dairy is a lovely conversion of a former Dairy and is one of the three-holiday cottages within Marshgate House. There is a lovely countryside dog walk accessed from right outside the door. Witton Woods is accessible from the Dairy on foot and the wonderful beaches are just a 10-minute drive.

It is situated near beautiful beaches and relaxing walks. Communication and help from Gail at Pack Holidays was really excellent in every way.
We absolutely loved our break at Eden Hall Cottage. Lots of room for our larger party and well equipped, including their own gorgeous soaps and diffusers dotted around.
Walking distance to a beautiful, quiet beach. We enjoyed the fire pit, lawned area and the super comfortable beds.
Overall a beautifully designed and furnished holiday home. The perfect spot for our well needed break away. Thank you
Every mod con is available and extremely modern and clean. New Mill is situated on the broads and very close to Mundesley, Happisburgh and my favourite beach, Winterton.
All 5 pugs were in their element either tearing around on the beach or boating on the broads.

We all had a fabulous time, weather could have been a bit nicer, but we managed to dodge most of the rain.
Oak Cottage, has a fabulous garden and secure fencing, just right for our 3 labs, and the huge bedrooms were just right for the humans x
The lovely big freezer was just right for taking the dogs raw food.
Sadly we didn't get the chance to visit the local pub, but it certainly looks inviting, fingers crossed that they can reopen fully soon.
We had a lovely walk at Holt Country Park, dogs are allowed off lead.
A visit to Salthouse and the Dun Cow is not to be missed, excellent seafood and a wonderful view out to sea x
This was our 2nd holiday at this venue and again, the well appointed cottage was clean and we can only commend the owners, management and maintenance teams for this.
There are plenty of throws to spread on the furniture and beds for the dogs to lie on and bowls in abundance both inside the house and in the garden. Our 3 dogs loved the doggie biscuits left for them and the dog tags with the management companies phone details etc on them are a bonus when coming to an area which is new to us all.
The garden is very secure and about the size of a tennis court. The fur babies loved it and spent ages inspecting it and sniffing every blade of grass and the country lane very near the cottage which goes to the beach and the seals, about 10 minutes walk away, was good for wild life watching and again, for the dogs to explore and leave their messages.
The location is so quiet and peaceful that it's a bit of a b****r to return to the city life. Wildlife seen from the garden included red, sika and chinese water deer, a regular visit from a male marsh harrier morning and evening and many other birds and also a resident hare who was always in the field just outside of the fence in the evening. It was great during the dark hours to use my powerful torch to spot animals by the pin points of light in the adjacent field's to the cottage and to see them wander around, apparently not disturbed by the torch.
Would we go again.... Too right. We booked another stay at this cottage within a few hours of getting home and will return in May 2022.
The only problem is I have 3 depressed dogs on my return home
Not anymore! Pack Holidays will be our first port of call. Our stay was great. The welcome pack was well received by the dogs and ours selves. Highly recommend Pack Holidays.
Then we found Pack Holidays. 5 dogs no problem. Property was great. Quality was very high. Welcome pack for dogs and hoomans. We had 12 glorious days and went home feeling very relaxed and looking forward to booking again with Pack Holidays.
That outstanding we rebooked for next year. Every aspect of a dog friendly holiday has been provided & so much more. A truly personalised service is given by the lovely Gail. We have never felt so relaxed on holiday with our dogs. & a lovely home made welcome cake & flowers were there for us on arrival.
But the most important bit, according to Monty, Gladys and Mabel (cocker spaniels), and Walter the Clumber spaniel, was the fab garden - front and back! Spacious and well fenced, and it had a few bonus tennis balls to be found.
Everything was warm, comfortable and welcoming. In the words of Arnie - I'll be back! Thank you to Gail and all of the team, and we'll see you again x
You can guarantee that all pack holidays are truly dog friendly. No worry’s about dogs on the sofa here! Gail was wonderful sorting out everything in these uncertain times. The welcome pack was incredible. Can’t wait to return.

Great walks the holiday pack was very useful .
I left one of my dog leads behind when we left but a quick email to Gail and the lead is on its way to me. This was my 6th or 7th stay in Snowdrop, and I’ve booked for next year too. I can’t wait!
Perfectly placed near to so many of Norfolk’s beautiful beaches, which making the most of the heatwave we visited everyday! We also were able to walk over the road and hire a boat out at Simpson’s for a few hours on the Broads.
Gail is great, professional, a wealth of knowledge with perfect communications throughout.

The house itself was spotless and although it had the capacity to sleep 12 people, it remained cosy and homely. The log burner was a real plus!
The garden is huge and very secure, a certain highlight of the trip for our pups and a stress free holiday for me as I didn’t have to worry about them getting out.
The welcome pack including sausages, bacon and wine was greatly appreciated too.
Gail (pack holidays) was fabulous and made the booking process easy and seamless. We booked extremely last minute (the evening before) and Gail sorted it all out so quickly, we were ready to go the next morning! The price was also very reasonable.
We highly recommend Misty Meadow for any group size and we cannot wait to return
Everyone was so friendly and the area has many places to visit. We loved Walcott beach, even if the wind was blowing a gale.
Would like to thank Gail for being so helpful, with the couple of extra things I needed.
It was so nice to be able to take the dogs out around the fields and lanes nearby, didn’t use my car all week. There is even a warm dog shower, to rinse off muddy paws. They have thought of everything, I can’t wait to return. X
A big thank you to Gail and the owners of Misty Meadow - it is a lovely property with lots of space for a large family and all the facilities needed for a comfortable stay. The large lounge benefits from four leather sofas and an armchair and also has a lovely multifuel stove which makes it feel so homely at this time of year!
The bonuses for dog owners are the large and secure rear garden, two downstairs bedrooms and toilet and all hard flooring dowstairs making the job of keeping clean at this time of year so much easier with lots of wet, muddy feet!
There are some lovely walks almost straight out of the front door and two very warm and welcoming village pubs in easy walking distance - the Greyhound & the Pleasure Boat Inn both of which serve good home cooked food.
Sea Palling is only a 5 minute drive away for those with dogs that love to swim. We spent a couple of hours there on a beautifully clear and sunny Christmas morning with the dogs and it brings home to you what is really important in life - making the dogs happy!
